I wrote this for a friend whom I wanted to lift their day. I hope whomever reads it, feels the love it was meant to give.
Used to having to hide inside yourself
Not able to share your truth with anyone else
Vulnerability can seem like a weakness
I promise you won’t regret this
Lay your head on my chest
I can give you a place of rest
A place to where you can believe
I am here to be your reprieve
Nothing to fear
I am being sincere
Your help and volunteer
