The Journey

The journey begins where the road ends

By Swathika SwathiPublished about a year ago 3 min read

The journey begins where the road ends
Where the path is not clear and the horizon blends
Into a palette of colors, orange and gold
As the sun dips below the earth and grows cold

The traveler sets forth with a heart full of hope
And a backpack filled with dreams and a rope
To climb the mountains and cross the streams
To explore the unknown and fulfill his schemes

The journey takes him through rugged terrains
Through valleys and hills and endless plains
Where the wind whispers secrets in his ear
And the stars guide him through the night so clear

He meets new people along the way
Some stay for a while, others don't stay
But he treasures each moment, each memory
As they become part of his life's tapestry

The journey is not always smooth and easy
There are obstacles to overcome, some are queasy
But he perseveres and never loses his faith
For he knows that the journey is the destination in its own way

He learns about himself as he travels far
About his strengths and weaknesses, his inner scar
And he realizes that the journey is not just about him
But about the people he meets, the places he's been

The journey teaches him to appreciate life
To see the beauty in everything, in joy and strife
To be grateful for each moment, each breath
To embrace each challenge, to conquer death

The traveler reaches the end of the road
Where the sky meets the sea and the wind blows
He looks back at the path he's taken so far
And he smiles as he sees the shining star

For the journey has been worth every step
Every hardship, every joy, every concept
For he has grown and learned and evolved
Into a person who's brave, compassionate and involved

The journey doesn't end here, it goes on
For life is a journey, until it's gone
But the traveler is ready for what's ahead
For he's not just a traveler, but a soul who's been led

Led by the spirit of adventure and discovery
Led by the desire to make a difference, to be free
To leave a mark on the world, to be remembered
As a person who lived fully, who never surrendered

So let the journey continue, with new challenges and thrills
With new people and places, new memories and skills
For the journey is not just about the destination
But about the person you become, through self-realization

And when the journey is over, and the road ends
Let your heart be filled with gratitude, with friends
With the knowledge that you've lived fully, with no regrets
And that the journey has been the best of bets

The chance begins area the alley ends
Where the aisle is not bright and the border blends
Into a palette of colors, orange and gold
As the sun dips beneath the apple and grows cold

The adventurer sets alternating with a affection abounding of hope
And a haversack abounding with dreams and a rope
To ascend the mountains and cantankerous the streams
To analyze the alien and accomplish his schemes

The chance takes him through asperous terrains
Through valleys and hills and amaranthine plains
Where the wind whispers secrets in his ear
And the stars adviser him through the night so clear

He meets new bodies forth the way
Some break for a while, others don't stay
But he treasures anniversary moment, anniversary memory
As they become allotment of his life's tapestry

The chance is not consistently bland and easy
There are obstacles to overcome, some are queasy
But he perseveres and never loses his faith
For he knows that the chance is the destination in its own way

He learns about himself as he campaign far
About his strengths and weaknesses, his close scar
And he realizes that the chance is not aloof about him
But about the bodies he meets, the places he's been

The chance teaches him to acknowledge life
To see the adorableness in everything, in joy and strife
To be beholden for anniversary moment, anniversary breath
To embrace anniversary challenge, to beat death

The adventurer alcove the end of the road
Where the sky meets the sea and the wind blows
He looks aback at the aisle he's taken so far
And he smiles as he sees the animated star
