Generating the Feeling of Wealth
I tell you what, this has been my only struggle with Law of Attraction. How do you generate a feeling of wealth when you've only got $4 in you bank account? Yeah, yeah, gratitude, I know. Being grateful for what you have. I don't mean to be a complainer, but I want more. That's just the facts. I had a lot more earlier on in my life, although it never truly came from me. Most of what I had and experienced came from other people. My mom and dad, my friends, my exes, they all loved my company so much that they enjoyed seeing me receive. I was young, vibrant, funny, and attractive. I really was blessed and couldn't see it right in front of my own eyes. I took it all for granted.

How I Learned to Love Myself. Top Story - January 2018.
It wasn’t long ago that I would get invited out with my friends, and I felt that I had nothing to wear that made me... “beautiful.” I would cancel my plans, and instead cry staring into the mirror absolutely disgusted with everything I was. Have you ever been to a Hollywood party? Maybe there’s a better suited question. Have you ever watched an episode of The Hills? Imagine walking into the room of a Teen Vogue summer party feeling like you have UGLY COW written across your forehead, and everyone reads it as they pass you. That was me. That was how I felt. All. The. Time.

The 8th House and Your Inner Witch
Do you know what your birth chart says? Or, do you even know what a birth chart is? Your birth chart is based off of the time, location, and date of your birth. At the time when you were born, every planet and star and thing up there in the universe were in a specific place. Doesn't seem like it matters, but it absolutely does. Your birth chart displays where all those planets and stuff were, and this contributes to the magic that is your personality.

Self Worth
I used to think that I needed to jump on every opportunity, that every chance missed was a door shut and a step backwards. I thought what the universe presented to me was what I needed at the time, until I found myself living in a reality that wasn’t aligned with my true authenticity; in simplistic terms, it didn’t feel good. Your current reality is a reflection of your self worth. Not your actual worth, but the worth you believe yourself to have, because those are two very different things. You may believe you can’t get better than that unfulfilling job with the shitty boss. I bet you justify it every day in your head or to others, or better yet, you blame. What you really deserve is purpose, fulfillment, something that lights your soul on fire. But you don’t believe that, do you? I bet you’re even thinking, well not me, or I’ll never find that, or someday but not today. But here’s the truth: the universe only wants us to grow into our full authentic versions of self, and we are conditioned and taught off that path. We have learned to SURVIVE instead of THRIVE. The people, the places, the things, in your life are all manifestations of what you have attracted, accepted, and most of the time settled for.

The Importance of Signs
Too often we overlook the importance of signs. Which signs, you ask? The ones that present themselves to us from a higher source. Bear with me—this doesn't have to be a religious or spiritual post. I know that can be a touchy subject and not everyone necessarily "believes." If I were to really dive deep into the topic of "believing" in something, anything, I'd say the most important thing to believe in (besides God) is YOURSELF! Your higher source could be different than mine and I'm not here to negotiate that. There are so many things we can do to make life so complex. Things won't always make sense or line up in our favor. Most of the time we will feel like we're going against the current. That's because we find ourselves resisting things that have presented themselves for our highest good.

Are You Addressing it?
This year will be a year of growth. It will be a year of opportunity. It will be a year of constant Self-Care! I pray that you overcome whatever you are going through right now. I pray that you find the time to address your health and care for yourself this year. I pray you learn not to let others get to you. I also pray you learn to get enough rest and eat well. I pray that you do these things because self-care is important and it is how you will get through this year and through LIFE!

Self-Love
This is by far one of my favourite subjects and yet I am still learning about it everyday. Despite being of an utter importance – it is a subject that is often overlooked and even more often misunderstood in our society. Self-love. I was familiar with the concept for years, yet it remained just that – a mental concept in my head with no idea on how to apply it in real life. And for some reason finding it out was not high on my priority list. Most likely because nobody told me just how important it is. It was a somehow mysterious thing, one that sounded vain and liberating at the same time and one that some people seemed to just magically have. It was almost like you had to be born with it in order to grasp it. Little did I know at the time – we were all born with it, it is our very essence and birthright. The problem is what happens after we are born – namely being shown and told we are not good enough. By our parents, by our teachers, by other kids and eventually by ourselves as we start to believe it. It has to be said that more often than not the message is not delivered on purpose and most of the time not in a direct manner either. It is more the case of us arriving to that conclusion just by living and observing the world around us. Every time we are told that we need to have good grades in school in order to be rewarded, every time we are compared to other children, every time we are punished for misbehaving – we learn that love comes with some conditions attached. And every time we fail to meet those conditions, we end up feeling not worthy of that love. The examples mentioned above are quite common and hence are something the majority of people can relate to. Then, there are those of us whose stories were far more traumatic and abusive and the consequences more pronounced, but the bottom line is that almost no one reaches adulthood without having had at least one experience that made them feel not good enough.

Lost
Since the year 2001, I have always been able to maintain a job. The first job I landed was for a market research company. I am grateful for this opportunity because it helped build confidence and interpersonal skills over the phone. In December of 2002, I went to work for a theater company doing sales and marketing. For the first few years, I thoroughly enjoyed working with other staff members and collaborating on new marketing ideas for growth in sales. I also had the privilege of seeing productions for free on opening and closing nights.

One Way, and Only Way
You ever had any great things you wanted to do? You start by planning everything in your head and think how great they will be for you. Sometimes you may even write them down, but when it comes to doing them, suddenly your mind tells you they're not important anymore, so you never do them.
