An Introduction to Myself
I've decided to tell you, the reader, about myself. For what reason? That is a great question that doesn’t really have an answer. But I do know that I felt that it's always good to remind yourself of who you are. I first wrote this during my senior year in high school, and if you have read my post “What High School Taught Me," you know I was a good student who got along with everyone. But sometimes it's not about who you are around or to other people, it's about who you are to yourself. It is good to see that I was honest with myself. However, I will say that I’ve definitely changed, for the better...I think. One thing that I want people to get out of this is that it's OK to think you are someone, but it's even better to KNOW that you are someone. I spent so much time in a small bubble, where I would keep to myself, and that's OK, because they day I broke free from it, I never looked back. So this is an introduction to myself.

Life Choices
Every day we get a choice. Big or small, it really does not matter. Sometimes the choices are what you’re going to eat today, or should you have that dessert when you’re on a diet. Other choices could be going to work or getting out of bed when you are depressed. It could be choosing what lipstick you’re going to put on or what you’re going to wear for a special event. The point is, we all have a choice, no matter what.

Homeward Bound
I am up late. Again. But tonight, it's different. It's an unusually warm night. There's a breeze; not enough to be disturbing, but enough to make the leaves on the trees rustle, and to make the stars look especially bright. I feel good tonight. I have not had a drop to drink, and I ate a normal meal.

Rose
I didn't even know how to spell my middle name until I was six. My mom made up our names, so we were destined to be different. She didn't think about the possibility of us not being hired or ridiculed because of them, she was thinking about the uniqueness we would represent because we were HER children, and dared someone to think differently.

A Post for Those Who Don't Know Where or Who They Are Yet
As cliché as it is, life is just one big what if. Everything happens for a reason—a quote I've always passed on situations, and an ex boyfriend who told me it was stupid made me realise even more so, that life pans out the way it's meant to.

How Changing My Perspective Changed My Entire Life
"Will I remember this day 10 years from now?" This is a question I often ask myself, thinking what have I done today that will help me remember this day 10 years from now. Whenever I ask anyone in my family about their teenage years, all they remember is what type of person they were back then. They don't necessarily remember the individual moments, or the times they felt the happiest. Does that mean that they haven't done anything worth remembering? I guess that's the answer I'll never know. All I know, however, is that I don't want to end up in the same place as them.

Letter to the CVS Man
Dear enthusiastic employee at CVS, Before I begin, I just want you to know that I think you are lovely. You attempt to make conversations with those around you and even offered to help me with my purchases out to my non-existent car. I’m sure that you meant well in all things but I just want to point out what you did was enlightening but hurtful.

The Problem with Society
At one time, you've probably heard a friend or someone else say something like this: "I'm so ugly." You may have told them no, you're gorgeous! Spoiler alert, everyone reading this, you are. You're incredible, and each and every one of you is amazing and unique.
