I absolutely love iced coffee. Although I cannot afford all of the whistles and bells, I do still love it. Personally? I use ice cubes and Sweet n Low.

The girl in this video is, yes, a little too silly. I could do without all of the acting.

*Not healthy?

Some people say that iced coffee is not healthy. I have heard just the opposite stating that it is good for breast health.

*No selection?

Well, there is instant coffee and there is instant coffee. I have never seen any other type of extravagant instant coffee.

However…

*Easy to prepare

Simply stir in hot water to dissolve the instant coffee.

*Quick rejuvenation

Are you feeling tired or sluggish? (I am drinking an iced coffee as we speak!)

*Inexpensive

Buy a jar of instant coffee from the dollar store

*Take wherever you go

Learn from the girl in this video.

She teaches a simple iced coffee recipe. The icing on the cake? She teaches to prepare the iced coffee in water bottles! You know all of those bottles of Starbucks frappuccinos you have been buying in the cashier aisle? Carry your own iced coffee which is just as good.

Personally, instead of using used water bottles, I use a sports bottle over and over. Why not invest in some cute water bottles? Bottles that are inspiring and motivating. Fill up quite a few overnight to be ready for the next day.

If you find a good sale, stock up on the milk. These iced coffees do use alot of milk. Simply place a few gallons of milk in the freezer.

I am frugal and not embarrassed. My friends do make fun of me. While we are going through the drive-thru, they are spending astronomical amounts on food and drink while I am packed with my lunch cooler already. Wise, yes? Only on very, very special occasions do I buy an iced coffee at McDonald’s.

Starbucks? A bad word around here! Do you think I am going to whip out $5.00 for a cup of coffee?

OK. You get my drift. The young girl’s iced coffee method in the attached YouTube video is the best!

As for the expense of milk, her method really is cheap.

What would make a cute present to give? Buy a sports water bottle, small jar of instant coffee, and small container of sugar with a print-out of this iced coffee recipe. Place in a tote bag. Christmas is coming up!

Why not make iced coffee water bottles as treats for yourself? Maybe set aside money you usually spend on something you “want” with something you “need”… aka: you “need” iced coffee. For example, do you eat alot of potato chips? Chocolates? Cola? Cake? Pie? Cookies? In other words, substitute iced coffee!

I found a recipe online recently where a woman made Mocha Cola. I am not sure if this really goes with my story, but I thought I would pass on to you. Mix coffee with cola (such as Dr. Pepper) and Half n Half. Voila. I made the mocktail for roommates, a guest and myself. The drink was darn good.

As I have mentioned, I drink this iced coffee recipe quite often. I actually love it. I need to sort through my water bottles though as my roommates are getting mad at my collection. Most of my water bottles are from Family Dollar. My favorite water bottle is from Poshmark.com.

All it takes for you is instant coffee, sugar, milk and a water bottle! Woo Hoo! If you can get through the video, it is worth it!

Be sure to tell me your opinion!

Thank you!
