"Hate-Proof Heart"
Amara was conceived uniquely. Not in the manner a youngster with criss crossed eyes or a giggle that tinkled like breeze rings is unique. No, Amara was different in how a beacon is not the same as a gleaming candle - she focused with a relentless inward light, impenetrable to the haziness that whirled around her.

Beyond the Numbers: Understanding the Societal Impact of Gender Disparities in Financial Literacy
Beyond the Numbers: Understanding the Societal Impact of Gender Disparities in Financial Literacy Although women have made great progress in the last few decades toward full equality, more needs to be done. The gender pay disparity in Europe is 12.7%. They are more likely to work in fields where wages are low and to encounter discrimination at work. In general, women have lower financial literacy than men. Many people lack basic knowledge of financial principles, with a significant gender gap in financial literacy. Women face unique financial challenges due to longer life expectancies, lower lifetime income, and career interruptions for child-rearing. This lack of financial knowledge puts women at risk of financial insecurity in retirement. Those with higher financial literacy are more likely to make better financial decisions, such as investing in the stock market and saving for retirement. United 93: Impact of a Legend
One Friday night, April 28th, 2006 my dad came to pick me up from my grandma’s house and told me we were going to the movies. There wasn’t any movie out that I particularly wanted to see that weekend so I wasn’t interested in going, nevertheless he made me go anyway and told me we were going to see United 93. I had no idea what the heck that was so now I was even less interested in going. There was also another movie showing that night named Akeelah and the Bee. Though I wasn’t crazy about that movie either I did atleast go watch it while my dad was watching United 93.
