It can be hard to stay focused sometimes. There so many things around us that easily distract us and take us away from our main focus.

So these tools below can help you stay focused on your main priorities for the day.

List Of Productivity Tools

All the tools I share with you below I've used in the past or am currently using.

Ultimately it comes down to your preferences and what works best for you. You can even try them all out and see what you like and don't like.

Below I'll share with you the ones I don't use anymore and why I stopped along with what I use instead.

Organize Your Day

One of the best ways to help you be more productive is having a program, an app or a planner that helps you organize your day to day priorities as well as weekly and monthly tasks.

1. Toodledo

This tools has so many features in it that I used all of them. One of the nice features about using this platform is their is an app version for your phone.

When you are listing out your to do list you can prioritize them from most important to least, set dates for them add notes, add time limits and much more. This really helped me stay focused on tasks and get them done.

There are other features inside like the notes section or the outline section.

I used to use the outline section to help me write my blog posts. Now I use Trello.

2. Panda Planner

Instead of putting your tasks online you can write them out in a planner.

This planner is unique because it focuses on building habits and focusing on your priorities.

This planner really helped me focus on my priority tasks. I was able to get more done and create better habits with this planner.

I stopped using it because I wanted to create my own planner and make a few things different, so this is when I started using the Bullet Journal which I will talk about more below.

But for about a year I used Panda Planner I ordered two books from them.

3. Bullet Journal

This is a blank book that has numbered pages.

It's easy for you to customize each page to how you like it and create your own planner.

I started using Bullet Journal almost 2 years ago. I love using it for several reasons, I can easily customize my daily tasks but it also lets me plan out my year, month and weeks.

4. Momentum (Google Chrome Extension)

This is great for everyday tasks you want to focus on. It helps you stay focused on the task at hand.

This is a Google Chrome Extension.

I like to use this to help me stay focused on the task at hand.

Keeping Notes

Another way to help you with your productivity is to batch your content and have a place to keep all your notes and ideas. So lets say you want to create a certain number of blog posts, or create a certain amount of videos or publish a PDF's or Ebook's.

What ever it you can write down your thoughts, outlines and ideas in the tools below.

This way when it comes down to creating the content or doing what ever you have to do you already have a ton of ideas ready for you to look at and use.

5. Trello

Trello is very simple to use. You can create different boards for your topics and within those boards you can create as many cards as you need to. Its easy to move them around and organize them .

This is where I like to write out my blog post outlines and video ideas.

I also have a vision board and upload images and things I want in life.

6. Evernote

Evernote is a place where you can easily organize your notes. I have all my business ideas, course information, blog posts, articles or information I want to save.

Its easy put things into their own Notebooks so you can find everything.

Think of it like a paper notebook except that its all online so its easy for you to file things and add things and search for things.

Plan Your Content Ahead Of Time

One way to help you be more productive in your business is to plan your social media posts ahead of time.

This way you're not spending time everyday coming up with a post idea and writing the captions.

If you have it done already you can focus on tasks that bring in results in your business.

7. Planoly

This is a place you can plan your Instagram posts or Pinterest posts.

I just use this tool for Instagram. One of the main reasons I like this one is because of the hashtags you can save and just copy and paste easily.

8. Buffer

Buffer is another platform you can use to schedule your social media posts. Here you can schedule Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

I still use buffer for Twitter, Pinterest and sometimes Facebook.

Resources To Help Improve Your Productivity

After I listed to Brian Tracy's audio about 21 Great Ways To Manage Your Time And Double Your Productivity. This really helped me manage my time better.

I was getting so frustrated that everyday I would find myself wasting time and working on tasks that didn't actually help me grow my business. I was doing more busy work.

Then I listen to this audio and I was able to plan out my day, and prioritize my tasks. I found I was actually getting things done and starting to see better results in my business.

I will say the first time I start using these tips it wasn't all smooth sailing. The first day I was definitely more productive then my previous days but not to where I wanted to be.

So I stuck with it and kept prioritizing and writing down my tasks and I found that I became faster and faster every day getting more done and reaching my goals.
