The young man turned to Malik with eyes filled with tears. "My father died this afternoon. I don't know what to do." Hearing the news, Malik was touched. He immediately approached the young man and gave him a warm hug. "Sorry for your loss, son. Your father must have been a good man. Can I help you with something?" The young man nodded weakly. "I don't know what I should do to take care of my father's funeral. I don't know how to dig a grave." Hearing this request, Malik felt his responsibility as a gravedigger. He took the young man home with him, and that evening the two of them talked at length about his departed father and the proper way to handle a funeral. On the way, he saw a young man sitting on the side of the road with a blank look on his face. "What's wrong, kid?" Malik asked gently.When finished, Malik sat next to the young man beside the grave they had just dug. "Now, your father can rest in peace here," said Malik gently. The young man looked at the grave with emotion. "Thank you, Mr. Malik. I don't know how I could have done it without your help." Malik smiled. "This is my duty, son. We gravediggers not only dig the ground, but also help the bereaved families to honor their loved ones." The young man nodded, his eyes still filled with tears. He knows that Malik's presence will not only help him bury his father properly, but also give him strength and hope that despite the great loss he feels, there are people like Malik who are ready to help him get through these difficult times.Since that incident, the relationship between Malik and the young man has become more than just a gravedigger and a person asking for services. They became friends, and Malik continued to provide advice and support to the young man as he began to take over responsibilities in their village.
