Cuddle Comfort
Cuddle Comfort, What’s That? So, what do I mean by “cuddle comfort” exactly? If you take it literally, then it can seem like it is a bit obvious. However, it’s not always a physical act or state of being. Cuddle comfort is just an act, touch, or anything really that gives you that sense of comfort or security in the moment. These moments usually even bring some form of clarity as well. That’s the simplified explanation of what cuddle comfort is; or at least in regards to how I refer to it and what I refer to it as.

Should You Apologize if You Were Wronged First?
A few years back, I read the book Hiroshima by John Hersey. It recounted with devastating detail the effect of the nuclear bomb dropped on the Japanese city of Hiroshima at the end of the Second World War. The annihilation of Hiroshima is a tragedy of unbelievable proportions. 78,000 people were killed instantly; many tens of thousands died later from the after effects. Moreover, this was a city — a civilian target — and the bomb decimated men, women, and children indiscriminately. Many of the people involved in creating and deploying the atomic bomb have voiced their compunctions about doing so. Yet, in the many decades that have passed, every American president has refused to apologize for the act. The U.S. has officially apologized for a number of things over the years, including the overthrow of the kingdom of Hawaii, slavery and Jim Crow, the Tuskegee experiment, and the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II. Why not, then, apologize for dropping the atomic bomb?

International Yoga Day Cultivating Mindfulness for Inner Peace and Balance
Observed annually on June 21st, International Yoga Day is a significant global celebration that shines a spotlight on the traditional practice of yoga and its wide-ranging advantages for the body, mind, and spirit. Originating in ancient India, yoga has become a widely embraced holistic approach to enhancing mental and physical well-being on a worldwide scale. In the following discussion, we will delve into the importance of International Yoga Day and examine the positive effects that yoga can have on mental health. To establish harmony between the body, mind, and spirit, yoga is a comprehensive system that incorporates physical postures (asanas), controlled breathing techniques (pranayama), meditation, and ethical principles. Yoga's very name, which signifies the harmonious unification of diverse elements within an individual, means union. Positive social relationships are a common outcome of individual yoga practice, and offering affordable or complementary classes to those with limited financial means allows more people to experience the benefits of inner peace and physical wellness.

Whispers of the Unseen
The Adventure of a Little Ghost, as Told in Whispers of the Unseen The melancholy of the Little Ghost One particular house had a transparent figure that wandered about the rooftop of the house. The area was a charming suburban community where the houses stood peacefully beneath the starry sky. This was Emily's house, and the ghost was her unborn daughter, Lila. Emily's house was named after her. The shape of Lila's body sparkled softly with an ethereal light, and her large, wide eyes were filled with a mixture of melancholy and yearning. During the moment that she was hunching slightly and reaching up with one hand to wipe away a tear, a strand of gray hair drifted over her head.

Motherhood and isolation.
There I sat in a class full of other mothers and babies. I’d managed to leave the house today so I could try and attempt to be social after becoming a new mummy. Yet for some reason, at that moment, I felt so alone. I’d find myself avoiding eye contact with others or just looking down at my baby. All the mums just seemed so clicky. It felt like school again. Feeling like an outsider, glaringly obvious that I was different. Or so I felt. Though every week I’d make myself go, for the sake of my baby. He was extremely social from such an early age. I could tell he enjoyed the company of other people because he was so curious and happy to be around them. Here I was, an introverted mother blessed with an extroverted baby.
