Charm Disarmed: How Race Issues and Ego Put a Hex on My 'Charmed' Affection. Content Warning.
Charmed, the original series from the 90s, was once one of my favorite comfort shows. Every week, I allowed myself to be swept away into the world of the powerful Halliwell Sisters, three San Francisco-based women known to fellow witches and demons everywhere as the all-powerful "Charmed Ones." Sadly, time and recent revelations about the WB/CW series have altered my feelings and keep me grounded in a new reality. While some may assume my issues lie with the contentious relationships between the show’s main cast – actresses Shannen Doherty (Prue Halliwell), Holly Marie Combs (Piper Halliwell), Alyssa Milano (Phoebe Halliwell), and Rose McGowan (Paige Matthews) – those actually fall on the tail end of my true grievance.

I Just Saw a Man Shoot Uncle Dave! Ain't No Place Safe Anymore
What kind of a sick bastard would shoot a man at a theme park? Now, I could understand if it was over ticket prices but trying to take somebody out just to cover up another crime is the most cowardly act I've ever seen.

The Boys Just Made a HUGE Mistake with Starlight! Will They Regret It?
While the gruff Butcher (Karl Urban) might be a fan favorite, the show's emotional core rests on the transformations of Hughie (Jack Quaid) and Annie (Erin Moriarty). Thrust into a world-altering encounter in the pilot, they became the audience's surrogates. Unlike Butcher, who remains his delightfully crass self, Hughie and Annie have undergone dramatic journeys, evolving from wide-eyed innocents into hardened individuals forced to confront the show's brutal realities.

Facebook went to hell
Mark Zuckerburg, I don't know if you sold out or if you just don't care anymore. Facebook has gone to hell. I've never seen it this bad in all the years I've been visiting that site. I used to love your website. I used to have great chats with friends and new people. I used to love the memes and political banter. I even thought that marketing options for businesses was a great addition and the share and send to Facebook links were wonderful for awhile. But now, it's all trash. It's all ruined. I have deleted my account so many times and then with some sad pathetic lonely hope I return and reinstate my account only to be tragically disappointed at how bad it is now.
