Allow me to give you a model.

A Land Meanderer Protector can swim through a portion of a meter of water

what's more, that is awesome.

This can swim through two times that.

Notwithstanding, this being the desert, water is very difficult to come by.

In this way, to test it, you in all actuality do need to make do.

Morning, apologies.

Sorry.

This is, except if I'm a lot of mixed up, a meter of water.

Also, the six-by-six is... swimming through it.

In any event, managing the elastic rings.

Better believe it, not having any troubles with this whatsoever.

Yet, how can it adapt to sand?

Indeed, the uplifting news is, sand is one thing we're truly not shy of.

Welcome to the Unfilled Quarter...

the biggest sand desert on the planet...

covering nearly 250,000 square miles.

Over here, temperatures hit 50 degrees centigrade.

Also, there are rises in excess of 800 feet high.

Alright, we have six-wheel drive

with the power split 30-40-30 across the axles... check.

More grounded front springs from the shielded adaptation of the G-Class... check.

Locking diffs... goodness, we have those.

The most you'd anticipate regularly would be three. On here, five!

What's more, you lock them involving these buttons in various ways.

Right, we should go.

These are huge, large hills. This is to a greater degree a sand mountain I'm on the present moment.

Three-and-three-quarter lots of Mercedes is doing this!

It simply doesn't feel right!

This additional hub and these an additional two wheels,

it meaningfully has an impact on the way the six-by-six goes over the ground.

It undulates. It feels flexible.

It resembles impacting through the desert ridges...

riding a ligament.

Please!

No!

I got some air. Apologies, everyone.

Inebriated by what the Merc could do,

I drove increasingly deep into the Unfilled Quarter.

Right, where's it go at this point?

Because... Gracious, my God! Gracious!

Gracious, for the love of all that is holy!

I wouldn't ski down that!

Alright.

Beyond preposterous, beyond ridiculous...

All extremely terrible! Not good!

It's vertical!

I'm in a vehicle, I'm having a plane accident!

I'm actually going down!

Gracious, what an idiotic spot! I can't stand it!

Ahead, I saw a decent, level desert floor and chose

that was a lot more secure spot to be.

It's floating!

Presently it's a convention vehicle, a huge meeting vehicle.

What's more, we should not neglect, I'm not yelling over this.

It's not rah in here.

I'm actually cased in extravagance.

It's an astonishing gadget.

Presently, when you take a 4x4 junkie across sand,

the standard practice, as I've done,

is to let some air out of the tires to give them a greater impression.

Presently I'm backpedaling on landing area, in this way, I really want to re-blow up them.

All I must do is work these above switches.

I feel like a fly pilot.

Blower on.

Going up.

What's more, they can re-blow up these tires in less than a moment.

Gracious, I love this.

On the off chance that I did this in Ledbury, I'd be mobbed at this point.

Abandoning the Unfilled Quarter, I headed back towards civilisation.

I won't imagine this is anything short of a ridiculous machine.

It's a six-meter, three-and-three-quarter ton,

£370,000, six-wheeled dinosaur...

be that as it may, as dinosaurs go, it is a heavenly one.

Eminent to view, radiantly made, it's one of the vehicle world's frantic minutes,

a vacation day from Priuses and Leafs.

Indeed, even in a nation as packed with ostentatious offy vehicles as this one...

it's still actually rather extraordinary.

You can fail to remember your chrome wraps and no big deal either way.

I don't figure you can beat simply having a bigger number of wheels than anything more.

Also, I can say with outright certainty

that I have a larger number of wheels than some other... Goodness.

Regardless. One point I can make without a doubt is that this is

the most outrageous Mercedes over here.

I uncertainty there's anything with a Mercedes identification in these parts

that can draw as much consideration... as that.

OK, so I don't have the most wheels.

It's not the most outrageous Mercedes around here,

in any case, the six-by-six has size on its side.

Greater than any Reach Wanderer, greater than any Land Cruiser,

greater than that old Jeep up there and that is the thing.

A vehicle can be delightful, yet when it's large, it has presence

also, they don't come a lot greater than...

Goodness... my... God.

I need this one.
