Dreamstorm: The Awakening
On another area of the forest, Amber stood, staring at her opponent with each fist closed tightly. Ten minutes of no action gradually elapsed, as Nanu waited for a telepathic response from his partner. He pondered; what could possibly be taking Wah so long, surely she hadn’t forgotten their plans. He wondered if an immature novice rumored to have taken out three experienced fighters possibly could cut her down. This was something they’d spoken thoroughly about after finding out that Asani managed forging an alliance with these particular children, and also the reason both formulated a strict strategy to hold back until they eradicated Hikaru Chan, just in case it required doubled overwhelming efforts for extinguishing unexpected auras of success that innately surrounded him. Nanu gazed heavily at Amber and Asani, well knowing already that neither were capable, and could never cause him to exhaust extreme amounts of power. He patiently began approaching…

Dreamstorm: The Awakening
Hikaru raced through the forest out of breath, still unable to conjure up a plan. The best way he could possibly hope for stalling transitioned into concealment, since running failed as an option. He knelt low behind an oddly shaped bush, believing he’d stealthily lost Wah momentarily. His muscles were tense with stillness while hiding, constantly hoping that he wouldn’t be caught by surprise. Hikaru turned around, then looked behind himself, at his left and right, but found no one in his search. For the first time since developing a sixth sense, he felt nerves kicking into high gear for fear of being ambushed; usually his setting control allowed him to be accurately aware of everything around, but Wah’s phasing ability made her undetectable, neutralizing what he thought his greatest advantage had always been, pinpoint detection. Hikaru peered through leaves of thick brushes, and as he turned again, glancing over one shoulder, he found the enemy standing at his left, displaying a thrilled grin. Wah booted Hikaru’s face before he could stand up, her shoe striking his profile, and causing him to tumble over against his back.

Dreamstorm: The Awakening
Standing on damp soil, Nanu kept his head bowed and his eyes closed while Amber and Asani watched with caution. Neither had any clue about what was going on, and both hesitated to attack. Nanu straightened his neck, then opened his eyes. “Sorry for the delay, but I did give you both time… time to make peace.”

Dreamstorm: The Awakening
Four o’ clock, this is the exact moment when Hikaru finished getting ready for dinner. With Amber taking up much of their time readying herself, she didn’t finish until thirty minutes after Hikaru, absorbing a grand total of two hours preparing. This agitated Hikaru, the last thing he wanted was possibly being attacked inside Mrs. Poliani’s home. He eyed Amber while she placed one of her high heels on.

Dreamstorm: The Awakening
Hikaru knew immediately, somehow, someone found them. Dashing out of his chair, he made a passage to Antarctica, frantically motioning for Amber to hurry through with his hands. She ran inside, and Hikaru followed her, shutting the portal as he stepped out onto the vast frigid white land. Temperatures measured below freezing, and chilling winds were high, rapidly whipping against Hikaru’s flesh, causing him to shiver while he wrapped both arms around his body, desperate for warmth. He used his hakq, skillfully flowing it all around his skin, and to his amazement, this technique worked, keeping him cozy as though he were wearing an impenetrable coat wrapped around his entire body. Amber watched Hikaru, then mimicked him, using her hakq for heat as well.

Dreamstorm: The Awakening
Hikaru and Amber both came out on top of the building where himself and Kamari had previously been abducted. While standing idly, Hikaru wondered how everything he’d just experienced in the last five minutes could possibly be real, yet constant images resurfacing in his mind were undeniably true. He made a passage to the sidewalk and stepped inside with Amber following close behind. Arriving beside the building they’d just stood atop of, Hikaru sealed the portal shut. Near roadside, many people continued pacing, carrying on with their day to day lives without noticing anything unusual. Hikaru approached a man dressed in vibrantly colored clothes standing near a streetlight, who’d been in plain sight of their recent supernatural appearance.
