This is why you need a Kindle

A Kindle can store thousands of books, allowing you to carry an entire library with you wherever you go.

Kindle has already spread in many countries, people use it as a substitute for books. The choice between a physical book and a Kindle often depends on personal preference. (I can't say that Kindle is better than physical books, nor can I say the other way around.) However, here are a few reasons for you why people may prefer the Kindle.

  1. They carry thousands of books at the same time in one device, which contains even more worlds and stories. Think about it: you are going somewhere on vacation for several weeks, but you plan to take more books than you can fit in your suitcase. You have a Kindle in your hand, it fits in a small bag, and you have more books to choose from than in a bookstore.
  2. Physical books can take up a lot of space in your house/room, while Kindle allows you to store a large library on one device. This frees up a lot of space, and you don't even have to worry about how many more bookshelves to buy and where to put them at home.
  3. Kindle allows you to quickly download and get books. You don't have to go to bookstores, and you save time. You can start reading as soon as you download the ebook.
  4. Many Kindles have the ability to write notes on a section of a book, highlight the text (and easily refer back to it later).

I also have to mention its disadvantages:

  • it doesn't have that dominant book smell that every bookworm/reader loves so much
  • You don't turn the pages of the book physically.
  • You cannot lend or sell books from your Kindle.

Of course, it also has its advantages:

  • you can access your books anywhere at any time
  • it can be used not only for reading e-books, but can also include an audiobook function, dictionary, note-taking option
  • there are books that can be cheaper in e-format than printed versions, and through Kindle we also have access to many free or discounted books
  • Kindle allows you to control the font size, font and lighting, which can be especially useful for people with vision problems

Here are a few Kindle devices that you can get for yourself

Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition

It has automatically adjustable front lighting, which helps you read comfortably in any light conditions. It supports wireless charging, so you can easily charge it without having to connect it with a cable. It has a battery life of up to 10 weeks on a single charge, useful even during longer trips. In addition, there are no ads appearing on the lock screen, so you can enjoy an undisturbed reading experience.

Amazon Kindle

One of the lightest and most compact e-book readers, characterized by a longer battery life. It has adjustable front lighting, which allows you to read comfortably even in different light conditions. It has 16 GB of internal storage.

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite

One of the most popular e-book readers, which now has even more innovations. The device has a new, larger display, which makes reading more comfortable. With the adjustable warm background lighting, you can read comfortably even in the evening. It also has an extended battery life, so you can enjoy reading for longer on a single charge. And its faster page speed ensures an even smoother reading experience.
