K-pop Immersion
Music, in my opinion, can be one of the greatest platforms to connect people, society, and cultures. In the US we are most aware of the music that fits Western standards. Even the love for classical music is dying off as the music we see in pop culture takes over. That being said we've started seeing an influx of K-pop supporters in the US in recent years.

Spotify Wrapped 2023. Top Story - November 2023.
Y'all it's that time of year, anticipated by many a Spotify user. Wrapped first started in 2016, although a less developed version "Year in Music" had been premiered the year before. Wrapped gives users a look at the music they listen to from January 1st to October 31st, which, at least for me, is usually a moment to be surprised (or not).

Liv Hanna Releases New Single "lonely"
Liv Hanna kicked off the summer with the fiery track, "Back To Hell." The eclectic, "Back To Hell," is a mental health anthem. The track equates Hell with the hellish headspace that many are in or constantly find themselves falling back into. The single draws on Liv Hanna's personal experiences and takes a deep dive into topics such as isolation, rejection, and depression. The song isn't the quintessential Pop record as it features sounds from various genres such as Alt-Pop, Dark Pop, Indie Pop, and Pop Soul. The songstress now returns to close out the fall with her new single, "lonely." Similarly to "Back To Hell," Liv Hanna puts her unique, distinctive twist on the Pop genre. "lonely" may best be viewed as an Alt-Pop/Dark Pop record, but the song is more eclectic in nature as it features synths, the ebb and flow of up-tempo and downtempo sounds, and has elements drawn from Electropop, Pop Rock, etc. Also, in a similar fashion to "Back To Hell," "lonely" provides listeners with heartfelt lyrics and emotive, booming vocals. Ironically, "lonely" will make listeners feel less lonely.

Melodic Marvel: Unveiling the Enchanting World of Unusual Musical Instruments
I am a huge fan of music. Some people say my love for music teeters on obsession and they might quite be right. I started collecting records (yes, the old vinyl ones with pops and scratches) in 1972. I was 12 years old. By 1997 I amassed a collection of more than 17,000 record albums and more than 12,000 seven inch singles. At my peak of record collecting I owned 30,000 pieces of vinyl.

Ranking Every Janet Jackson Album.
Janet Jackson is one of my favorite artists and it being 30 years since The “janet” album, I thought it would be fun to do a little ranking of all her albums. I listen to some more than others, but I’m pretty familiar with all of them. So let’s get into it as we sit and wait for “Black Diamonds” if she is even still calling it that. If and when it comes I’m sure it’ll be just as engaging and enjoyable as the rest of these are. I’m mad that I didn’t get to see her this year on tour, but that’s neither here nor there. This ranking is mine and mine only I’m not speaking for everyone else just fyi. And we start with…
