When Sigma returned from Planet Slime, he found Delta looking through his record collection.

‘What are you doing?’ asked Sigma.

Delta looked up to see Sigma covered from head to toe with slime.

‘Hey, watch out. Your getting slime all over the carpet. Go get cleaned up, then you can help me pick out some Halloween songs. We’ve been asked to DJ the Area 51 Halloween party.’

This brought a smile to Sigma’s face. He loved going to Earth, so much better than the three headed slime beast he had been dealing with for the past two weeks. ‘I’ll set a course for Earth, and get things started with a little traveling music,’ Sigma replied.

Nothing like a little CCR to travel by, and “Bad Moon Rising” is the perfect song as you head to the party.

At Area 51 there was a lot of heavy equipment to put into place, so Sigma and Delta enlisted Herbert to help. Herbert was a large but very friendly monster. He wanted to be mean and scary, but he could not stop smiling or giving people compliments, for a monster this is a real problem.

‘Hi Sigma and Delta, are you having a nice day. Why are you just wearing your tighty whities?’ Herbert asked.

‘It’s our costume,’ said Delta. ‘As long as we are providing the music, we figured we would come as the Red Hot Chili Peppers.’

‘To get things started, let’s listen to "Soul to Squeeze",’ Sigma added.

‘What a great song. Can I play my favorite?’ Herbert asked.

‘No not yet, because I can guess what you want to play. Maybe later.’ Sigma said.

‘Herbert what is your costume suppose to be?’ asked Delta.

‘See, I’m wearing a tie, because I’m a tax accountant with the IRS. Scary right?’ said Herbert.

‘Sure is, and this one may be a stretch. But nothing scarier than getting audited by government bureaucrats , so let’s hear the "Taxman" by the Beatles.’

‘Hey Herbert, you know if your fur was Purple instead of Blue, you could be a Purple People Eater. Can we dye you purple?’ Delta asked.

‘No But let’s hear Sheb Wooley sing "The Purple People Eater",’ Herbert replied.

‘I do like that song, but I would rather be known as a Scary Monster. So, let’s follow up with David Bowie’s "Scary Monster",’ Herbert added.

The party was really rocking, and everyone was having a good time. Sigma and Delta kept it going with Van Halen’s "Runnin' with the Devil".

They quickly followed that up with AC/DC’s "Highway to Hell".

Then finished off the three-song sprint with "Dead Souls" by Nine Inch Nails.

Sigma noticed that a young Area 51 scientist kept glancing at Herbert.

‘Hey, go ask that young lady to dance,’ Sigma told Herbert.

‘Nah, why would she want to dance with a monster like me. She’s much to pretty,’ Herbert replied.

‘Just go over and introduce yourself, and leave the rest to me,’ Sigma said.

Herbert went over and started talking to the young lady. Sigma could see they had made a connection, so he sealed the deal by playing "I’m in Love with a Monster" by Fifth Harmony.

Sigma wanted to keep them dancing so next he played "Boogie Monster" by Gnarls Barkley.

It was it that point, Sharon Stone (no not that Sharon Stone) showed up wearing a Witch costume. Delta, who has had a crush on her ever since his failed attempt at an alien abduction, saw her come in and quickly put on "Witchy Woman" by the Eagles.

‘Hey Sigma, cover for me, Sharon is here, I’m going to go dance with her,’ Delta said.

Sigma put on "I put a Spell on You" by CCR.

Sigma seeing both Herbert and Delta having a great time dancing with their dates decided to play "Love Potion No. 9" by the Searchers.

It was getting late, and Sigma knew he needed to play a couple of the favorites. He first put on "Boris the Spider" by The Who.

And what would be a Halloween party without Alice Cooper, so he played "Welcome to My Nightmare" as introduced by Kermit.

It was time to wrap things up, but there was one song he had been promising Herbert he would play. To finish out the night he played "Monster Mash" by Bobby Picket.

Have a safe and fun Halloween
