Tabby London
Bio
The London I've been discovering is usually off the well-beaten track.I love the nooks and crannies and walking along the streets steeped in centuries worth of history. I'm fond of Zone 1 because that's where it all began centuries ago.

AN OASIS IN PICCADILLY
Green Park was my escape from the four walls of the Corporate Office world, usually each day. I enjoyed exiting the air-conditioned offices to breathe fresh air in the Park. I'd either go early or after the lunchtime rush because, on a sunny day, the Park filled up pretty quickly with office workers.

OOH, LA LA - PARIS CALLING…
I love train journeys, and one of my favourite journeys is from London to Paris. I enjoy going to Paris for the day. For the day, I hear you ask? Yes, for the day. The beauty of London - Paris is now only 2 hours and 12 minutes on the Eurostar from St Pancras.

Overwhelming Wonderful
I decided to go to the British Museum after a long time. Pre-COVID, you could walk in through the front or the back entrances. These days, you have to go through bag checks, too. As a frequent visitor to London, I don't mind either entrance, so I was interested in the fastest route inside the Museum.

Back To The Tower
When the lockdown restrictions were lifted, I remember walking outside of Tower London and absorbing the once-in-a-lifetime surreal feeling. I will never forget what I saw. The place was virtually empty, with an eerie silence all around. I remember talking to one of the Beefeaters standing behind the Gate, and he told me they would be opening when they got the go-ahead from the officials.

Tulip Mania
Who would have thought you could visit a Tulip Farm in the U.K.? I've been growing tulips in my London garden for a while now and know how much they cheer me up as I head into my London garden or look through the window. They add a wonderful splash of colour, especially when the weather is blah blah outside.

A Former Royal Deer Hunting Park
I've come to warm towards Hyde Park over the last few years. It wasn't my favourite go-to-park before, but I love it now. I particularly like the long stretch of walking path near the Knightsbridge end. I will likely see the King's Soldiers along North Carriage Drive in their finery as they head towards Buckingham Palace.

HIGH UP, BIG BEN
I'm getting good at refreshing the online button for hard-to-secure tickets for special events 😆. Big Ben was no exception. I remember the last time I 'queued up' online was for The Garden Picnic at Buckingham Palace. Thankfully, the wait wasn't so long for my tickets for Big Ben, which were booked two months in advance.
