I May Not Get A White Christmas
I may not get a white Christmas But I'll be cozy inside with my family by my side We'll listen to the waves crash while drinking coffee and cocoa Before unwrapping our presents as the holiday goes Excited to see what each Santa brought us I won't even notice there's no white Christmas for me Plenty of snow in each Christmas movie Leaving our minds in the snow flakes With warm feelings melting the frost away Waking the better part of me I may not get a white Christmas But with the festivities we'll get carried away Snug in our beds the silver reflection of moon on the ocean, same as snow No one will know there's anything missing Except for those no longer present At it's end, thoughts and prayers to be able to do it again next year

Nothing
Nothing, cannot be stolen It escapes all and needs no safe No one can own it, alluding in nature If not careful, it will steal everything away Into the void of nothing It embellishes barren Until everyone is hypnotized Unaware while it takes Make no mistake there is no revoke Unprepared, unequipped, unequaled I take joy in knowing I have a treasure hidden in plain sight Nothing, cannot be stolen Largely becoming the way in our climate Greedy nothing, nothing takes All you could carry inside and out It took the devout It did this just to prove Nothing, cannot be stolen It does the taking It is it's own thing Built of years and time Ever remaining Nothing, cannot be stolen If you are lucky enough to realize when you have nothing Nothing is everything Because, Nothing cannot be stolen

Dame Nature
Snakes, worms that learned to protect themselves. Not exactly, but my way of explaining evolution. Both creatures most likely have prehistoric origins and provided meals for birds. Both play important roles in the environment. Yet worms, outside of aphrodite myth, have no gods dedicated to them in every culture.

My Narnia
One day I woke up in my Narnia. I woke up and stepped into an entirely new world. One recognizable, but wholly unknown. It carries many expectations. I stumbbled into it. It happened not quite over night, but at times it felt that way. My Narnia carries no friendly wise character's, there was no Aslan to greet me. I entered at the part where Aslan had died and unfortunately Mr.Tumnus transformed and disappeared before my eyes. The dangers remained recognizable, witches existed in all colors and places trying to turn others to cold stones or arrogant endullgant feens. One had to be steadfast at all times. Dangers lurked everywhere, everything a trap, everywhere a start of a maze that could easily disorient and make one lost. The information I gained from formal education was flipped upside down. There is no place for it in my Narnia.
