Good Time Review
When you pop in a movie into the blu ray player or dim the lights and take the first bite of popcorn you expect every time to be an experience that you remember. Some movies provide this and others do not. That is just the nature of the game. Good Time is one of those movies that grips you right from the opening frame and does not let up for one second until the end credits roll.

Rogues Book One
Every now and again there is a story that just feels like it needs to be told. DC Black label seems to be the perfect place to tell these no holds barred storylines with no limitations. Rogues was yet another shining example of how it could have been yet another novel on the regular platform.

The Batman Review
Ever since the first teaser dropped for The Batman fans have been eagerly anticipating this film's theatrical release. Matt Reeves has been given a tall task of bringing yet another iteration of Batman to life. There is no mistaking it now, he has done just that and done so with a resounding force that one cannot ignore his presence.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre
It seems like the modern horror trope is to go back to the original and do a sequel about 40 plus years having transpired since the original. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is the latest film to receive this treatment as a new sequel came to Netflix earlier this week.

Netflix Gems: Concrete Cowboy
Films are meant to capture a moment in history where emotions were high. It is what makes the audience want to discuss the themes of the movie long after leaving the cinema or turning off their at home entertainment units. Concrete Cowboys is yet another shining example of how Netflix just keeps releasing gem upon gem.

Eternals is a rare misfire from Marvel.
Marvel has had a string of massive successes. Eternals had all the makings to be yet another. Unfortunately it was not and it has become the first rotten film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. There are plenty of reasons why this movie did not connect with me.

Top 10 TV Series Released in 2021
10. Heels- This show was so engaging. As someone who was a major fan of professional wrestling and has lost touch with it, this show brought back that passion. It's the monopoly on the industry that really set it back and this show addresses that. The stardom vs the home grown arenas and local wrestling leagues. The fall out for those who had a career and wasted it. This show tackles all of that and familial drama at its core. It's very well written and acted. So happy it will have even more time to flesh out the story in a second season.

Don't Look Up Review
Films tend to have commentary about social concerns and ongoing things that have an impact on our everyday lives. Often these films deliver humor to land the punches. Adam McKay is one of those filmmakers and Don't Look Up is another shining example of what he does best.

No Way Home.
When Tom Holland's Spider-Man burst onto the scene in Civil War you knew as a long time fan of Marvel that the character would be a major factor going forward. Tom has since starred in the biggest Marvel movies of all time and Spider-Man: No Way Home may become the biggest.
