Lies and Omissions excerpt
This is an excerpt from Lies and Omissions, on Amazon for Kindle (link). It is part of the first chapter. After practice, Nick went home and grabbed a quick shower. He jogged back out to his car and headed to the Dixon house. He hopped out of the car and walked to the door. When he knocked, Sharon, Nicole’s mom, answered the door. She ushered him in and let him know that Nicole would be down in just a minute.

Widow's Walk
Holly led me up the stairs to the widow’s walk on top of her house. It was our place to get away… or at least as far away as a pair of ninth graders were going to get. We liked to come up to the little structure built on top of the old house to sit. We would hold hands, sometimes kiss… knowing any moment her father or her mother could climb the steps and see us.

Why I Write
I haven't been writing forever... Honestly, I've only really been serious about it for a couple of years... ok, less than a couple. In October 2019, I decided to write a novel. I published it in November 2019. And the sequel a couple of days later. Yes... days. The first one was Planning Vengeance and the second was Dig Two Graves.

Escape chapter 3C
Kelly unpacked her clothes she had picked up from the extended stay hotel the family had been staying in before the accident. The social worker had taken her there after collecting her from the Wilsons. She would be sharing a room with two younger girls. They were in a bunk bed on the other side of the room, and she had a double bed. She would get half of the dresser, and she was busy loading her clothes into it.
