The digital world has been pervasive especially in today’s generation. The output and input of information are all done easily through the use of digital devices and the internet. Consequently, communication is also more accessible and unchallenging because of the advent of technology all over the world. That being said, if journalists employ convergent media, the reach of the news and engagement with the targeted audience will be expanded and strengthened.

Undocumented OFW: Does the means justify the end?
Growing up, we were always taught that lying is morally wrong, however we were not taught as to why it is wrong. We were just forced to understand as a kid that it is wrong because in reality ‘lying’ is much more complex than it is just being ‘wrong’. According to Kant, the act of lying or deception attacks our morality as it undermines our ability to make free, and rational choices or it corrupts the most significant quality of being a human being. Now, the widely accepted definition of lie is making a statement believed to be false, with the intention of getting another to accept it as true which was mentioned by Igor Primoratz.

Hitting the bull’s eye of reality
Birdshot is a coming of age film which tells the story of Maya, who innocently kills a Philippine Eagle, protected by the government. Circulating on the life of Maya, the story has depicted a lot of elements of society that are requisite knowledge that we can obtain. Besides its thriller and mysterious plot, it set forth that police brutality exists, and injustices are chronic. It also presents how people’s state in life directly affects how people of power treat them.
