Merlin's Dragon Slayers
Merlin’s Dragon Slayers Prologue By Cleve Taylor “There weren’t always dragons in the Valley.” “Well, we can be sure that there is at least one here now. Take a look at this scat,” George said as he dragged a stick through an obviously fresh splat of scat that was the size of a stainless-steel garbage can lid. There is no cow nor anything else around here big enough to do this.”

Stowaway
Stowaway By Cleve Taylor Liam was small for his age, either 13 or 14, he wasn't sure, but he was expected to do a man's job as he helped load the 1385 bags of mail onto the ship bound for America. From two tenders, appropriately named PS Ireland and PS America, 123 passengers boarded the Titanic at its offshore anchorage in the Cove of Cork, its last port of call in Queenstown, County Cork, Ireland. Most of them, 111, were to sail in third class steerage. But Liam was there only to move bags of mail onto the net that lifted the mail bags from the tender onto the ship and into the hold for transport to America.

I'm Bobby
I'm Bobby By Cleve Taylor Bobby lay in an earthen and snow covered hide he had constructed in a treeless scar on the side of a hill several kilometers northeast of Kyiv's city limits. Looking through the reticulated scope on his sniper rifle he could clearly see the convoy of Russian armaments, supply vehicles, tanks, and soldiers that had bogged down after tanks and vehicles were destroyed when confronted by Ukrainian defenders armed with rifles, Javelins, mortars, and a willingness to die to protect their freedom from Russian aggression and autocracy.

B J's Treasure
BJ's Treasure By Cleve Taylor BJ had a dozen kids and thrice that number of grandkids. Add to that the many friends and acquaintances who showed up at the Frog Lick Cemetery for his funeral, and the turnout for his funeral was a bigger do than the annual Frog Lick Christmas community dance, and there wasn't any spiked punch at the funeral. Not to say that a few of the people there hadn't had a nip before the interment.
