The Top 5 Greatest Cartoon Shows for Kids?
In the 19th century, beginning in Punch magazine in 1843, cartoon came to refer – ironically at first – to humorous illustrations in magazines and newspapers. As time moves into the 20th century, it began to refer to animated films that resembled print cartoons. They were only seen as children entertainment, with more evidence of Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs being the first animated film in the 1930s. Also, anime became popular in the west in the 1990s which brought a foreign animation style for kids, teenagers, and adults to enjoy over time. Now, the only question to this article is not how long cartoons have existed or which animation style is better. No, the question presented in this article is which is the greatest cartoons of all time. This will focus on cartoon shows that made a great impact and influence in the media, and how it holds up to modern standards. Keep in mind that this is very objective and there will be explanations for the following five shows to be included.

A Jester and a Clown
We had a lot of great films that has come out in the year of 2019. We had Avengers Endgame, John Wick 3, Yesterday, and so on. But between the big summer films that were dominating this year, there were two films I couldn't forget. One film is about a man who has a mental disorder who’s living in a terrible condition, and the other is about a poor soul who is abandoned and is alone in an isolated place for a long time. These two might sound the same, but the only similarity is the characters the two films mostly focus on. These two characters I'm going to talk about is Arthur Fleck and Spinel.

Vote You Lazy Butts!
In America, the voter turnout has become increasingly low over the past few years. For the next election, many people have given many ideas on how to increase voter turnouts. First, there’s the idea of recruiting a good candidate. A good candidate can conceive and persuade people to vote for the candidate. Secondly, there’s the idea of institutional reforms. This will allow citizens to automatically register through a process once they are 18 or older. Thirdly, there’s the idea of mailing a ballot to voters. This will allow citizens to vote at their homes. So, the three ideas to increase voting in America are recruiting a good candidate, institution reforms, and mailing a ballot to voters because this will give citizens a chance to register and vote easily on time.

Kaio-Ken vs. Super Saiyan
Kaio-Ken is a technique invented by King Kai that multiplies the user's ki for a "heartbeat," enabling them to inflict serious damage to opponents. As a result of the Kaio-Ken, the user's base power level, strength, speed, and senses greatly increase for an instant as red-colored aura appears on the user. When the user's battle power is 8,000, their limit is double, and when they are at 3 million the limit is times ten, which explains why Goku (the only user in the series) had strained his body too much from using above those limits, for his battles were harsh, and his maximum is times 20. For example, when Goku uses Kaio-Ken x10, his power level was 180,000, which is too short for the 3 million limits and over the limits between five and eight times, thus creating the stain over his body.

The Harsh Reality
To Pimp a Butterfly is a 2015 album from American rapper Kendrick Lamar. This album is regarded as the best rap album from the rapper and one of the best albums to ever exist. Even though the album has a great blend of musical genre from rap to jazz, there’s one song that caught my interest at the time it was released.

A 'Chucky' Movie That's Artistic?
There have been a lot of great movies and television shows I have seen through my youth and the rest of my teenage life. There are many different genres I enjoy, but for some reason, I mostly enjoy the recent seventh horror Child’s Play movie in straight to DVD film, The Cult of Chucky.

Edgar Allan Poe's Life & Work
In the author’s work, we always know that they use their source of creativity among their writing, yet the author also uses his/her life to influence the work. One author that has his work influenced by his life is horror writer Edgar Allan Poe. His writing contains the genres of horror, gothic, and detective/mystery. Some of his works include The Raven, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Murders in the Rue Morgue, etc. Edgar Allan Poe’s life has been down since he was three when his mother passed away and his father left him. As he was adopted by John Allan and his wife, he didn't have his book published at the age of 13, dropped out of college due to debt, his adoptive mother passed away from tuberculosis, and evening his wife faced the same disease. Ever since Poe wanted to be an author during his harsh time, he probably uses his depressing life as an outlet to apply to his stories.

Why I Didn’t Go to College
From the beginning of everyone's life, adults ranging from parents to teachers have told kids of any generation that college is where they must go to have success in life and in their future. Every kid doesn't really think about college until they go to high school where they realize they have to do something before they graduate. They have many options to choose, yet the one option they always have been told was to go to college.

New Saiyans, New Powers, Lower Positions
After watching Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super, I realize that there have been characters that are created have the ability to gain more power in a quick time span than the main character Son Goku. The ones that usually do this are new Saiyans that are introduced from many series or antagonist ready to face Goku in a fight. This got me thinking about four particular Saiyans. These Saiyans may have been promised to have potential from the beginning when they were first introduced. Their debut may have thrown off people who have power scale characters for many years suddenly been caught off guard by how rapid their power grew. The characters I’m referring to in particular are Trunks and Goten from Dragon Ball Z, Caulifla and Kale from Dragon Ball Super.

The Purposes of Expectations
Since the day you or I were born, we had parents setting expectations for us. It could be from the time we were carried in their arms while sleeping whispering what we would be like, or maybe they have plans for us to become successful as we begin to take our first steps. In time people from either in the family or friends group want something out of each and every one of us. It seems like we have goals and dreams that would make people be proud or ashamed of us. It may be far fetched, but to say the least there are expectations we have to overcome or accomplish to set our lives.
