Masquerading Masculinity. Top Story - July 2023.
Where to begin? I never expected to write an article like this. However, I just listened to the sixth episode of Behind the Bastards on Andrew Tate. It is an unfortunate reality of the world that “men” like him exist in the world. And will continue to pop up from time to time until men learn to deal with their issues in a healthy way. So, how do you do this? How does one become a man?

The Eternal Scholar
I wasn’t sure about entering this challenge at first. In large part, because in some ways I am already doing the job I imagine myself doing in any time period. That is being a writer and historian. But while talking with a couple of friends earlier today through Facebook comments, I became inspired to explore this idea more. While also exploring the implications of what it would be like to be a historian and writer in other time periods, and tie in an earlier thought I had a couple months ago.

Loaded
I wrote this during brunch yesterday. It was the first day in seven years that I wasn’t filled to the brim with medications. Long story short I spent many years getting misdiagnosed for what has now been fixed over the last few weeks. I was originally going to write a lengthy article, but this just leapt out of my head. For anyone dealing with chronic pain, please know there are others out there that are sharing your struggle. I hope that everyone gets as lucky as I recently have to get in front of the right doctor, and to have the life changing experience of going from being in pain everyday, to having it start to go away in what seems like overnight compared to how long it persisted. Stay strong for yourself. Stay strong for your family. It does get better.
