Sisso New Album – Singeli Ya Maajabu
Nestled within the rich cultural fabric of Tanzania's musical landscape, Sisso emerges as a beacon of innovation at its eponymous studio in the bustling city of Dar es Salaam. Here, amidst the rhythmic heartbeat of the nation, the revolutionary singeli genre finds its epicenter, pulsating with an energy that defies convention. Singeli, though not clandestine within its homeland, boasts tempos that soar beyond the 200 BPM mark, offering a vast playground for sonic experimentation and exploration. Propelled by the relentless dedication of Uganda's Nyege Nyege label, a venture initiated by two European expatriates driven by a profound passion for East Africa's electronic underground, singeli's more avant-garde iterations have surged onto the global stage, overshadowing the relatively mainstream-friendly offerings of artists like Msaga Sumu.

Society's Sculptor
Society's artwork is fading, kind of like watercolors on a thin canvas. The swirl of hues gets me feeling a bit uneasy, but honestly, I totally get what true beauty means. We’re in a place where it's all about the cash. You hurt the bees yet want their honey? It’s puzzling because those little creatures are crucial for creation and maintenance.

Paint Brushes for beginners
As an traditional artist, paint brushes are essential, especially for medians such as acrylic paints and glazes. While having the right brush is important for any piece, it is important to know what kind of brush works for you. The brushes that I will be going over today are the Craftsmart Brushes: Golden Taklon Ultra Fine 15 piece set and the Cratftsmart Assorted All-purpose Brush set with both Golden Taklon and White taklon brushes 50 piece set. Both sets are $9.99 from Micheal's and they come out to $10.81 if bought separately (This is in Texas where we have no sales tax). Now onto the more detailed bit.

What's inside this crater in Madagascar. Content Warning. AI-Generated.
diverse places in the world. Almost all of its plants and animals aren’t found anywhere else on Earth. And when we looked at it from space, we saw a spot. A massive dark circle, almost perfectly round, over thirteen kilometers in diameter, and big enough that roads are diverted on either side of it. Looking at it from the side, we could see it was a mountain. And if you zoomed all the way in, you could see a village nestled in the crater at its center. 8 kilometers from the closest labeled town on Google Maps. Isolated in a remote part of a remote region of a geographically isolated country. It looked like it could have been there for generations. But if you looked backward through time … … each year … … it gets smaller and smaller … … and before 2008, there was no one there at all. I wanted to try to answer one question: Why did these people move to such an incredibly isolated place? I was really starting from zero here. I didn't know anyone in Madagascar. I didn't know that much about Madagascar. But the question was: could we get in touch with the people living here just by using the internet? The closest location tags were on the edges of the mountain: a butcher shop, a playground, and a historical landmark. But none of them were real — they all seemed to be random references to the popular Japanese manga and anime series Attack on Titan, written in Russian. The ones that did look real — churches, hospitals, schools — didn’t have much of a presence on the internet. So we looked at content that had been geotagged nearby. First on Twitter: using the coordinates of the village, and a search radius. Until finally at 12 kilometers away … … we found someone. A nonprofit worker who had posted from a nearby village in 2014. We asked if he knew about the village on the mountain. But he never got back to us. On Instagram, we looked for pictures tagged in the nearest town, and found an aid organization that had posted pictures t

Wolfacejoeyy New Album – Valentino
In the vibrant mosaic of New York City's music scene, a singular chapter unfurled for the son of Staten Island, wolfacejoeyy. Amidst the throbbing heartbeat of the city's drill movement, his journey took a serendipitous turn with the arrival of Cash Cobain and Chow Lee's seminal mixtape, "2 Slizzy 2 Sexy," in 2022. It was a moment that cast a luminous glow on joeyy's artistic path, propelling him into the immersive currents of the melodic trap landscape. Among the luminaries of the underground scene, such as SoFaygo, Slump6s, and Yung Fazo, he found himself navigating the evolving sonic tides, each wave sculpting his artistic vision. Yet, beneath the surface allure of his falsetto-laden hooks lay a yearning—a yearning to transcend the superficial trappings of SoundCloud rap and delve into uncharted musical territories.

Dave McKendry's New Single "Drugs" Is Pretty Dope!
If you enjoy feel good catchy indie music, this is one song you'll definitely have on repeat! Drugs is the first single of Dave's forthcoming EP, which he will be rolling out over the course of the year. The title of the song may seem controversial to some, but the song itself is not actually as much about drugs as it is about love. The song feels profound and heartfelt while maintaining a jubilant and uplifting vibe!

Taylor Deupree New Musical – Sti.ll
In contemplating the audacious task of remaking a classic, Joseph Branciforte found himself ensnared in the tangled webs of doubt and comparison. Why meddle with something already heralded as extraordinary? Yet, when Taylor Deupree presented him with the bold proposition of crafting an acoustic rendition of his groundbreaking 2002 album, "Stil.," Branciforte's curiosity was piqued. "Stil." epitomized the zenith of the glitch movement, birthed from the epoch when personal computers metamorphosed into sanctuaries of sonic experimentation. Deupree's methodology was anything but conventional—he wove electronic samples slightly out of sync, permitting minuscule digital aberrations to dance in and out of temporal harmony, akin to a Steve Reich opus on a microscopic scale. The resultant sound was undeniably warm and emotive, yet seemingly unattainable by mortal hands.
