You Don't Need to Lose Yourself as a Writer to Embrace AI

AI can make your unique writing even stronger

When Chat GPT first came out, I wasn't happy. I thought it seemed a bit creepy. As a writer, I also felt personally offended by its existence because I thought it would devalue my writing.

I decided to give it a try anyway, and I realized I could use it to my advantage!

How could my mindset change so quickly? It's because I learned that AI doesn't replace my greatest skill, it can enhance it.

AI Isn't a Replacement for Good Writing

In my early days of experimenting with AI, I defaulted to using it to write content. Sure, you can do this and it could possibly save you time in creating content for your business.

However, after several minutes of exploring, I realized that my writing is better. It's richer and has a lot more depth. I often tell stories to give the content some more depth.

AI-generated content may be technically sound, but it all lacks a human flair. Over time, you begin to see just how "robitic" AI-generated writing really can be. It often feels like it lacks a personality.

Use AI to Make Your Writing Better

While I don't recommend you use any content generated by AI for your businesses or other purposes, it can certainly make your life easier.

Think of AI as your digital writing asssitant. These are tasks AI can help with:

• Brainstorming a list of article topics.

• Create an outline of an article you'd write yourselfe.

• Generated articles can be used as research.

As long as all your words are unique when you are writing, there's nothing wrong with using AI in the same way you'd use an assistant.

Understand What AI Lacks

When people say that AI writing is flat and emotionless, it's because it was written by a machine and not a human. Sure, a human may have developed it, but AI can't give you the human experience.

When it comes to writing, this can be a problem. Work that lacks emotion and personality generally doesn't resonate well wtih the audience.

If you know what AI lacks, however, you can train yourself not to rely on it or to use it for your writing. Constantly test your AI tool to see if it can get close to writing driven to experts.

This is why it is so important not to rely on AI for anything!

Focus on Building Authenticity

If you look at AI-generated content with an unbiased eye, you will see that it just doesn't come off as being the most interesting. As mentioned above, AI can't create the human experience.

It takes a human to do that.

Authenticity is about building trust, mostly through writing unique content in the industry. If you try to cut corners by posting AI-driven content, then people won't respond to it as well.

Are you building authenticity or are you using AI to help you with just about everything imaginable? If you use AI for the actual content, people can tell. You won't look authentic.

Be Sure to Keep Your Unique Voice

One thing that stands out to me about human content versus AI-generated content is that it is so important to keep your unique voice.

As mentioned above, embracing AI doesn't mean that you will lose yourself.

The goal, then, is to make sure that the content is filled with personaliy. These are the things that are present only when you write a piece from scratch without AI generating the content.

As you can see, there is a way to be a writer in this day and age, as long as you don't write with AI. They do other things to make your living space comfortable, safe, and happy.

So, you don't need to lose yourself as a writer just because AI exists. It's possible to use it to make your life much easier!
