Koh Phi Phi is a little island approximately 45 kilometres from Phuket that is home to some fantastic diving spots suitable for divers of all experience levels. Day excursions to the Phi Phi Islands for divers may be taken from Phuket. Snorkelling and scuba diving are both enjoyable activities that may be enjoyed here due to the presence of several shallow hard coral gardens.

Koh Bida Nok and Koh Bida Nai

Two tiny rocky islands may be found at the southernmost tip of the range of islands known as the Phi Phi Islands. These 2 islands offer great and diverse diving that is ideal for both novice and expert divers. The depths range from 8 to 28 metres, and there are both shallow reefs and high cliffs. It is not uncommon to encounter leopard sharks in these locations. Although they normally lie dormant in the sands, there have been reports of them swimming about which is a remarkable sight.

Reefs composed of hard corals with vibrant soft corals are home to a variety of marine life, including moray eels as well as scorpionfish. There is a stunning archway that is teeming with juvenile baitfish. On the western side of Bida Nok, there are multiple swim-throughs that lead to an intricate maze of large rocks. Sometimes, turtles might be observed roaming about on this reef.

The presence of leopard sharks is rather prevalent in this region, particularly in the eastern region of the island. Bamboo sharks also have been observed in the region, and it is important not to startle them. Blacktip reef sharks and also whitetip reef sharks have been observed in the vicinity on occasion. Near the eastern pinnacle, divers often see schools of barracuda as well as trevally, in addition to snappers, mackerels, and other types of pelagic fish. Divers could also get a glimpse of a sea snake, a cuttlefish, or a Kuhl's stingray. For an unforgettable diving experience, you might want to book accommodation at a luxury hotel on Phi Phi Island that offers these types of excursions. For instance, you can start checking out properties like SAii Phi Phi Island Village for an unforgettable experience.

Loh Samah Bay

The bay of Loh Samah is located on the eastern side of Koh Phi Phi Le. It is a popular spot for nighttime dives due to its modest depth. In the centre of the bay is a large coral garden with a number of anemones that can be found at depths ranging from 2 to 12 metres and is excellent for snorkelling. The dive often goes around a tiny island made of limestone that is located inside the bay here. When underwater, the high sides of this rock provide a perfect reflection, making it an ideal environment for several types of coral, including sea whips, soft corals, and fan corals. A deep canyon that is teeming with fragile aquatic life may be found on one side. There is a possibility of seeing seahorses in this area.

Hin Bida

This location, which is around 6 kilometres away from Koh Bida, is known as "Phi Phi Shark Point" because leopard sharks are frequently seen in this area. The rock is exposed when the tide is low and lowers to a depth of 18–22 metres while being encircled by rocks, staghorn corals, plus sand. There are also large rays that may be seen here on occasion. The soft corals that may be found around the southernmost area of the site are stunning.

Maya Bay

The well-known location where the film "The Beach" was shot may become somewhat busy, but it does provide some good diving opportunities, including a vast cavern. The northern side of this bay has a reef that slopes downwards, which has some impressive rock formations and provides a decent possibility of coming across a turtle. The nicest part of the dive may be located between 16 and 18 metres deep on the northwest tip. There’s a fantastic swim-through there, as well as a high wall.
