Otzium Wellness Spa at Il Bottaccio

Winter is finally behind us and we are all enjoying the beginning of spring. We just love having the opportunity to spend more time outdoors and connect to nature. As everyone begins to set their eyes on travel outside of our region of the world and considers their summer plans, health and well-being in the forefront of our minds. We uncovered incredible spas all over the world worth visiting. Join us as we journey through these healing properties!

Our first stop on our spa tour is Otzium Wellness Spa, located in a luxury boutique hotel in Tuscany called Il Bottaccio. This lovely property has eight suites for guests, so like the hotel, the spa feels like an exclusive experience. They offer a Meridian Massage with Gua Sha Technique. It is described as a reactivation massage using the elements (water, earth, fire, wood and metal), oil and the energy of self protection to rebalance and relax the entire body.

The swimming pool at Ega Wellness offers lovely mountain views and creates a wonderful ambiance to enhance your relaxation experience.

Italy has an abundance of amazing spa options, with it being so centrally located to many organic products (particularly oils and herbs) used within spa environments. Our second recommendation is located in the Dolomites. Ciasa Salares' spa, Ega Wellness, offers a unique treatment called Ega Wine Therapy. Body and facial treatments are powered by the healing property of grapes and feature Vinoble Cosmetics during each experience.

Schweizerhof Bern Hotel & Spa sauna is a perfect space to relax and unwind

A short train ride will take you from Italy to Switzerland. An out of this world experience awaits you at the Schweizerhof Bern Hotel & Spa. The Venus Clam Massage consists of warm Venus Clams from the South Pacific being glided over the muscles, creating an incredibly relaxing sensation in the body. This treatment is extremely unique and is not offered at any of the other spas we have mentioned.

Qua Spa at Caesars Palace Dubai

Next we continue on to Dubai, a city that sets the precedent for luxury. The spa at Caesars Palace Dubai is truly exceptional. Qua Spa has taken a nod from their location in Las Vegas where guests can experience a combination of Japanese technology and traditional spa treatments. One of their signature treatments is the Royal Arabian Desert. The mineral Quartz is known for its healing properties and you begin your treatment by relaxing on a unique Quartz bed while being wrapped in Arabian herbal compresses of frankincense and cedar wood. A body massage is performed with an incredible muscle balm to ease all of your tensions away.

Beautiful water views at Cap Juluca, a Belmond hotel- Arawak Spa

Caribbean sea winds beckon us to our next spa experience, located in Anguilla at Cap Juluca, a Belmond hotel, and it is called Arawak Spa. We are big supporters of solo travel, but we love the sound of the treatment called Eternal Romance, which is meant for couples. It consist of an Anguillan Salt bath, a 60-minute massage and tempered oil poured over your third eye to accentuate an incredible scalp massage. Everything about this experience sounds heaven sent!

The indoor pool area at Grantley Hall's Three Graces Spa

We would have to travel back across the pond to enjoy this experience, but the trek would be well worth it. Three Graces Spa is located at Grantley Hall in Ripon, England. A short drive from Leeds or York will transport you to the former vacation estate turned luxury hotel. It's important to have a fresh face after all that time in the air and we recommend Grantley Hall's Signature High Performance Wave Facial. It is described as a "high-performance, results-driven facial" that helps the skin by combining organic oil with an ILA high-performance LED face mask during the treatment.

The incredible Olympic size swimming pool at Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo Spa

Last, but never least, Hôtel Hermitage in Monte-Carlo is home to Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, the world-famous spa that serves the hotel it is housed in and its sister property, Hôtel de Paris. Thermes Marins is always innovating and they offer a treatment called the Monte-Carlo Harvest Synergy Treatment. First, you receive an exfoliation treatment consisting of grapeseed oil and Guérande salt. Your body is wrapped with fresh crushed red grapes and grapeseed oil. Finally, a grape and honey face mask is applied to encompass the full body experience. This treatment option is only available for a limited time, making it even more exclusive.

We can't say enough good things about the variety of healing experiences that spas have to offer. Pampering the senses and the quiet time alone (or with that special someone) is a great way to truly connect. We hope this inspired you to dust off that passport and start planning your next amazing stay and spa moment! Safe travels!
