Your Past vs Your Future

Your past doesn't define you!

Your past does not define your future,

Every day is a fresh start to get it right.

Though shadows linger from before,

You hold the canvas, you hold the brush.

Mistakes and trials are lessons learned,

Each one a stepping stone, building a foundation,

Your future's path is yours to mold,

In your hands, you're not alone.

Look ahead with hopeful eyes,

The past is but a guide, an experience, a memory.

Strength and wisdom you have gained, lessons learned,

Now let your spirit guide.

Dream anew and embrace your course,

With courage you must face the dawn,

For your future waits with open arms,

The past, its power fade, its gone.

Remember, my friends, you shape your future,

With every choice you make.

Your past does not define you!

**** Be kind ****
