Winter Wonderland

Paris has frozen over, yet I would like to go there in the Spring.

I’d like to go to Paris in the Spring.

But, the city is coated in permanent frost.

With you, I’m up for almost anything.

The Eifel Tower, tall and proud like a king.

Its splendor never lost.

I’d like to go to Paris in the spring.

Snow has turned Paris into a winter wonderland.

As if a spell was cast.

With you, I’m up for almost anything.

Sparkling ice coating the street.

Frozen statues of all who were lost.

I’d like to go to Paris in the Spring.

Many statues lost, as the cold sings

a song of one who is crossed.

But with you, I’m up for almost anything.

The land barren with empty swings,

A land never to defrost.

I’d like to…go to Paris…in the Spring.

With you…I’m up…for almost anything.
