Why Would You?
Fight or Flight
Circling like vultures, not strong enough to kill your prey;
Waiting for the right moment to strike, praying for my rot and decay.
I don't have time for your lies and deceit;
Although, I will wish you nothing but happiness in living out your nightmare on repeat.
Between my fake confidence and your inability to smile,
There's a storm brewing and believe me when I say, it is going to be wild.
Broken excuses will not shelter you from the unrelenting storm.
They say cold trauma patients die - and you no longer deserve my warmth.
The greatest damage often takes place as you sleep sound at night,
But the smell of your fear is too tempting, for it feeds my delight.
How do you plan to fly once the razor winds have clipped your wings?
Without your wings you cannot fly, so you must learn to crawl for new beginnings.
I have one more question, consider it wisely..
Why would you? you know I won't play nicely.

Jollyoddbod Poetry
Here I am, and here I'll stay;
Like the moon in the darkness that refuses to fade.
Clouds will cover, but cannot take from my reign;
Mark this as the moment that they realise, as they scoff with distain.
They fell asleep, I cannot be blamed.
