Why wage wars with weary weaklings,

whose willpower will wake with wonder?

Wildflowers wither while wealthy watchmen wait.

Wizened workers, wounded, withdraw weapons.

We watch with worry.

Who will win? We wonder wearily.

Winter wanes.

Wise words whispered while we weep.

Who wins with war? Wealthy wackos.
