Why Am I Upset?

Wanting To Bring A Good Man Home

By Leiann Lynn Rose SpontaneoPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

Things get so

Complicated.

Is he good?

Is he bad?

You just can’t tell by

The look of a face

Does the smile scream of

A deceit?

Does the frown show

Pain?

Does the smile show goodness?

Does the frown show evil disdain?

Smile. Frown.

Smile. Frown.

Wanting to bring a good man

Home.

Instead of being alone.

Wishing I were arranged

At birth

To a babe

Who would be taught to know

My worth

But not in money

But in love

Men I find are either

Married or gay

Know I’m hard working

And only want my hard-earned pay.

Why am I upset?
