Whispers in the Labyrinth of the Soul

Exploring the Mysteries of Inner Shadows

By Life Goes OnPublished 11 months ago 1 min read

In shadows cast by moon's enigmatic gleam,

Where whispers dance on edges of a dream,

A labyrinth of echoes, deep and still,

I wander through the void, against my will.

The world becomes a riddle, tangled, strange,

Each step a haunting shift, a spectral change.

Emotions shrouded in a cloak of mist,

I seek the missing pieces, sorely missed.

A carnival of thoughts, a carousel,

A ride of twisted tales that weave and swell,

I chase elusive specters in the night,

Lost in this enigmatic, endless flight.

Behind the masquerade, a masked façade,

A puzzle piece concealed in velvet shroud,

In search of meaning, clues, and cryptic signs,

I delve into the secrets of my mind.

A labyrinthine mind, a mystic chase,

A quest to find the light in this dark space,

To fathom depths where shadows intertwine,

And bring to life the hidden, lost design.

So, I embrace the enigma, seek the thrill,

Unlock the mysteries, break through the chill.

For in the depths of darkness, I aspire,

To find the spark, the thrill, the inner fire.

I love this. The rhyme is spectacular! I admire short and sweet rhyming poems, but poems like these which are longer and still manage a rhyme are so beautiful. I love all the imagery, the labyrinth, it's very well done!
