When the Moon Appears

Ahsan Ahmad

By Ahsan AhmadPublished about a month ago 1 min read

When the moon appears in the sky,

Soft and gentle, a silver sigh,

I see my mother, her face so bright,

Guiding me through the quiet night.

Her love, a beacon, pure and true,

In the moon’s glow, I feel her too,

Her whispers in the evening breeze,

Bring comfort, put my heart at ease.

The stars, like memories, twinkle high,

Each one a moment, a lullaby,

Of times we shared, of dreams we spun,

Under the moon, we are as one.

Though she’s far, her presence near,

In the moon’s light, I have no fear,

For in the night, when shadows fall,

Her love surrounds, it conquers all.
