When Pizza Contracts Earth
What happened at dinner tonight
It was a chilly evening on a Thursday so clear,
And I was dining at hope where none should fear.
My stomach growled for sustenance to be served,
With a few quick steps I got my food rightly deserved.
A pizza so cold from the freezer so high,
It had to be cooked so my stomach could fly.
After waiting a bit my food was soon ready,
And with it I got a slice both warm and steady.
So scrumptious and cheesy it made me weep,
But not because this dish was so cheap.
Upon sinking my teeth into that first big bite,
I soon got caught in a terrible fright.
What went into my mouth didn't just come with a box,
It had come with an infestation of tiny rocks.
Luckily I didn't break a single tooth,
But with it came the realization of a terrifying truth.
All meals can potentially conceal hidden dangers,
Like a bar who lets in all the strangers.
True story that came to fruition just 30 minutes before this.
