What do you think of me?
The comfort of knowing
Write me a poem
Sing me a song
Tell me you love me
Or hate me
Just don’t make me wait
Please don’t make me sit
And think
Or ponder
What you think of me
-
When I’m alone
I search in the archives of our conversations
Our memories
Our laughs, smiles, smirks
Winks
I look back at the tears
Averted gazes
-
The silence
-
In it whispers truths and untruths
Of which they are, I can't tell you
I can’t even begin to tell myself
But I try
-
In the silence I see everything
Nothing
All blurred into one
I see what is, what was
And what never will be
-
Blinded by the need to know
What you think of me
-
It shouldn’t mean, to me, what it does
But here I cling to the idea, to me, of what should
Or could…be?

Brilliant and humble, loud and quiet, timid yet bold, generous, kind, compassionate and in tune with The Father.
one of my annoyances when creating on this site is that format is hard to control here. part of poetry is format and it's unfortunate that the poems suffer for stylistic issues.
