Alexandrines for an alien found on Earth.

On a September night, showering me with light,

the stars were witnessing a fortuitous meeting.

I followed the weeping, thinking I was dreaming.

The origin in sight, I stopped walking in fright.

At first, I closed my eyes, told myself I surmised,

but I could not deny the alien soft cry.

“Hey little guy, look at the sky and say goodbye.

Please follow me, I guarantee, you will feel free.”

We arrived at my house, I brought him to my spouse.

She greeted him kindly and she loved him blindly.

She brought him close to her, hugged him like a mother:

“Though little guy, please do not cry, now close your eyes.”
