We found each other in our insanity

***

Perhaps our hearts destroyed by madness

connected through the pain of the past

***

Perhaps the self-destructive nature of seeking submission and dominance

pushed us closer together

like two magnets polarising in dark nights

ruled by creatures of seduction

each day of a miserable existence

***

Perhaps it was our past

that predestined the future of misery and eternity

in our harmed bodies

the pathetic arm of brutality

leaving deep scars on the soul and skin

***

Was our intimacy paid in the wrong currency?

Was the language of our vulnerable souls lost in translation?

Two beautifully ruined minds

love poems
