Poetry On War Vs Peace

War Vs Peace

In the realm of contrast, let us explore,

The eternal struggle of war and peace at its core.

With words, I shall paint a vivid scene,

Of the clash and harmony that lie between.

-----

War, with its thundering drums of strife,

Engulfing nations, tearing apart life.

The battlefields strewn with sorrow and pain,

Where humanity weeps, amidst the disdain.

-----

Soldiers march, armored and bold,

Their hearts heavy, yet valiant and bold.

The cries of anguish, the toll of the fight,

Echo through the darkness, piercing the night.

-----

But amidst the chaos, a flicker of light,

Peace emerges, a beacon shining bright.

A longing for harmony, a yearning to mend,

To bridge the gaps, to heal and transcend.

-----

Peace, like a gentle breeze on a tranquil shore,

Calming the waters, restoring what's sore.

A symphony of voices, embracing in unity,

Rebuilding broken bonds, nurturing community.

-----

In the silence of peace, wounds find their mend,

As enemies become brothers, and fences unbend.

A world where compassion triumphs over hate,

Where love and understanding determine our fate.

-----

Yet, war and peace, forever intertwined,

As history's tapestry is intricately aligned.

For from the ashes of war, peace can arise,

And from the embrace of peace, hope shall arise.

-----

So let us strive for peace in every endeavor,

To ensure our world flourishes and will never sever.

May empathy guide us, compassion lead the way,

For in the union of war and peace, humanity shall stay.
