War

Endless Echoes of War

By Trista HarrisonPublished 11 months ago 1 min read

This is a poem I wrote on War

A clash of ideologies,

Both right, both wrong,

Both fighting for what they believe in.

Mothers, Fathers,

Brothers, Sisters,

Losing loved ones In senseless conflict.

The innocence of children

Becomes lost In the conflict of adults.

The victors come out as heroes

As they write history,

The losers, the villains,

Both taking innocent lives,

Both committing heinous crimes.

As long as there is Greed for oneself,

Hate for one another, War will never end.

This cycle will continue Until the end of time.
