Until the judgement call!
"I'm not promising"
I'm not promising you my existence.
But I'm here now, and I love you.
You're aware that my life belongs to the Lord.
Whoever created me will decide my fate.
I might be in your life today and tomorrow
but I'm not sure if I'll stay in it forever.
Allow that to sink, keep it in your kind thoughts.
What came from the ground will surely return.
The ground is the source of my existence.
I will surely return to it someday.
Now that we've decided to love each other,
We should be happy and enjoy ourselves every day.
As if it could be the end of our lives,
where tomorrow won't arrive.
Let our love remain magnificent
until the judgment call!

I love this so much Gloria! Means a lot. Thank you. 🙏❤️
Hi Gloria, The imagery you conjured throughout the poem was striking, painting scenes that were both vivid and poignant. From the delicate brushstrokes of nature to the tumultuous landscapes of the human heart, each stanza unfolded like a masterpiece, drawing me deeper into the narrative. What struck me most about your poem was its exploration of the complexities of human emotion and experience. Through your verses, you navigated themes of love, loss, and redemption with a grace and honesty that felt deeply authentic. Your ability to capture the essence of these universal emotions in such a visceral way is a testament to your skill as a poet. I was also moved by the sense of hope and resilience that permeated your words. Despite the darkness and uncertainty that often accompany life's trials, your poem reminded me that there is always the possibility of redemption, of finding light in the midst of darkness. Overall, "Until the Judgement Call" was a beautifully crafted poem that touched me on a profound level. Thank you for sharing your talent and insight with the world. Your words have left an indelible mark on my heart, and I look forward to exploring more of your work in the future. With warm regards, Dr. Jay
