Twilight, in deep blue

he didn't come home last night, twilight

Lost stars die in milky moonlight

Ripping my heart to throw out,

Tongue-lashing, a lost beat

Losing you means sweet

Night caves in, split

Like our hearts

Deep blue,

Broke.

Another excellent nonet! Well-wrought! Some of us do hold deep blue seas in our hearts, me thinks, and the cracks are down so deep only we and the creatures of the deep know the full extent of the pain. "One must be a sea, to receive a polluted stream without becoming impure." -Friedrich Nietzsche

So sad, but the last few words especially are strikingly beautiful and intense. Good luck with the challenge.
