Truth

Or...

By Paula ShabloPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

I could tell you that I know the truth

But why would you believe me?

We both have truth; mine is not yours, and yours is your own

We would not agree even if I told you the sky is blue

That, my friend, is the truth

If water fell from the sky, and I said it was raining

You would declare it a lie

And call it by another name

Wet snow? A drizzle? Sprinkles?

No matter, as long as it is your truth

But it is still water falling from the sky

That, my friend, is the truth
