Travel back in time

To walk with Our Lord

By Sarah Fiander HarrisonPublished about a month ago 1 min read

Travel back in time.

I’d love to travel back in time

To where feet in dusty sandals trod,

And robes ruffled in an occasional breeze.

I’d walk with them then, the twelve;

No - thirteen

And listen spellbound to stories by fire.

I would watch his hands move with passion

As lessons he would teach.

And when the time came, would I stand up

And be counted, or run to the hills in shame?

I would like to think I’d follow Him

That I would kneel at his feet

And cry my tears upon him.

And when he rose, I would be there

To spread the good news.

Yes, I tell you, I would love to travel back in time.
