Today, Today
Today, Today, Today, and Not Another Day
Today is the day I sleep, today, today, and not another day
When the sun rises I will sleep
I will succumb to the sirens sweep
And I will snooze on the pillow
Today, today, today, and not the next day;
For I am awake all day, soon I will sleep all the day
All day, all day, to sleep, so a dream may fly me away;
Today is the day I try, today, today, and not another day
When I feel like I might lie
On the nearest stop by, and try
And try, but tried eyes loosen and narrow
Shut, and the wind whisk my efforts away
Take me away, all day, till next day, I may never convince myself to try anyway;
