Tired ,Exhausted , Numbed to the core

Flat not thinking, Walking daily through this dream

Not feeling or wanting to be seen

Yet wanting someone to notice the lack

The lack of life in your eyes and your back

Knowing this is the road you chose

Those around you don’t see it any differently though

To them, you are the same as you have always been

You hold everyone together

Or that’s how it seems

The years roll by in your numbed robotic state

No longer can you hide the flatness

You want need to escape

You realise you are Burned out and anxiety is on the rise

This is how you have lived

You were trained very young to give, give, give!

As you draw back the giving

You find it hard to receive

But receive you must

If you wish to breathe

Slowly at first tiny baby steps

You ask for help

Receiving is foreign It's not in your training to accept

Yet your heart sings open

Yes Yes yes!

This is right this is true

This is how it must be

Find the support and let it open you

Let the support be your guide

Let yourself begin to take deep dives

What do you love

What is it you wish to create

What is your Journey if not to keep everyone together and be the maid

Taking care of others was trained and grained in

Now its time to refocus, repoint be renewed

Let the guidance of others and the burnout heal away

Let yourself feel alive when you love what you do and create

You’re here to learn and grow

To co-create in new ways

To change the lives of others

Through many new ways

Your time has come, your lessons powerful

Believe and trust

Have faith it will all be clear

Your life will be full of joy, love and fun.

No longer fear

Co-creation is the way forward and your new crown.
