Sipping on my ruby wine
its bottle, a monolith beside me
sprouting from the unkept grass
I can't help laughing between smiles
I throw my head back and high above,
white streaks of a brush on the blue canva
ephemeral clouds of innate beauty, life's art
Sitting there, gratitude fills me, in this
tiny corner of heavenly solitude, blessed with
a soft breeze, grazing bumblebees, one hundred birds
and the sun... Never really alone, am I?
And a plane passes by, its sound, all-encompassing
I revel in loneliness, contemplation
no desire nor will, simply a mind, living
In love with the world, for how beautiful it all is
A perfect balance of Nature
And in these few minutes, of peace and bliss, I thank myself
for being who I am. Of seeing and living and adoring these ruby moments
of lucidity, of life, of gratefulness to existence,
more than human, I am here
