“HO HO HO!
Merry Christmas, everyone!”
As snow starts to fall and presents start getting exchanged in the tavern, a few tavern mates enjoy their cups of hot chocolate on the couch, by the furnace. As you make your way over to join them, the warmth of the fire kisses your face, making you feel warm and welcome. Well… it has been cold outside, after all. Just as you are about to sit down, a letter on the notice board catches your eye. Curious, you make your way over to it.
Greetings Writers!
Well, we all know what season it is… Merry Christmas!
Now, to celebrate our very first Christmas in the tavern, we have an extra special event planned out for you guys! Instead of holding just a simple poetry contest like the previous few times, we have created a list of fun tasks for you to complete! Also, completing these tasks will grant you a new mystery role…
Here’s the list!
1) Write a Christmas story/poem on Vocal and share it in the #tavern!
2) Post a poem based on the following themes in our #poetry-contest channel: reindeer/snowman/ginger-bread
3) Invite a friend to the #tavern!
4) Do a simple Christmas sharing in the #tavern or #journal chat (Talk about what you are doing for Christmas...etc)
5) Send an image that best represents Christmas to you in #gallery.
Best of luck! We hope that this event will bring out the jolly Christmas spirit in everyone, and most of all, we hope to see you guys having fun!

As you read the letter, a slight grin appears on your face. “A mystery role, huh?”
You turn around, only to see a fellow tavern mate sharing the same smirk as you. “Well, let's see who gets it first!” She exclaims, as she rushes off to complete the tasks.
As you run after her, you let out a hearty laugh. “Oh yeah? I’ll beat you to it!”
Meanwhile, in a shadowy corner of the tavern, a feathered figure lets out a little grin.
“Ahh… Now that’s the spirit of Christmas!”

The Evolution of LGBT Portrayal in TV and Film
Happy Pride Month, all! I love Pride Month and everything that comes with it; the celebration, the festivities, the prestige. Pride Month is the ultimate beacon of positivity. Now sadly, there are a bunch of people in society who aren't really crazy about Pride Month and have their things to say against it. To those people, I'll only say this. There's a special place reserved for people who are against Pride Month. I'm too much of a gentleman to say it here, but I'll give a few hints: it rhymes with "bell," and I'm not talking about the city in Michigan.
