The world is at my fingertips!

My existence.

I am by myself all the time.

Within my own space.

Either writing or coding.

They think I'm lonely.

They believe I am alone.

They assume I hate people.

Little do they know.

I have the world with me.

The world is at my fingertips.

With my laptop, I carry the entire world.

They don't know that I have a new family.

A family I got to know through my talent and abilities.

Today's technology introduced me to this family.

Those who don't know.

They think I'm mean; I don't laugh.

They are unaware that I smile by myself.

I chuckle occasionally.

Sometimes I laugh out loud.

I am happy; in fact, we are happy.

They have no idea how delighted we are.

Me and my new acquaintances.

We speak to each other every day.

Though we never had a face-to-face meeting,

The world we live in is better.

We live within our universe.

A universe of mutual learning.

A life-and-literacy universe.

They don't know we are happy.

We are in a better world.

A world of authors.

We are never alone.

We don't know about loneliness.

We are with our thoughts.

And we are with each other. 

We are all happy.

They just don't know!
