The Waters

As Above So Below

Even drizzles become strains

Against lifes natural grains,

Though cities of the future will

Be liken to floating pills

Half under, half above

The oceans blue we love,

Reigning our imaginations

Rather than stagnations,

Rain barrels full of libations

For the goddesses of the waters,

We honor all their daughters

From the waves they do arise

Into a trance cool as a bise

Bringing solstices all together

In many kinds of weathers,

Heretofore realms forgotten tether

Lores under stormy slate gray skies,

Or perhaps a flock of geese flies

Over a drought striken land

As I sit beneath a branching span.
